And if you lie on your side, you should try drawing your knees up and putting a pillow between them. However, it could be your bed itself that you need to change. Buying a more supportive mattress, such as a memory foam mattress can take some strain off your back. Better mattresses are more expensive, but it’s worth it to get a good night’s sleep.
Go for a Walk
It’s important that we keep our spines healthy by moving around. Regular walks are a gentle form of exercise that can improve your back problems immensely. You can also try swimming, cycling or aerobic exercise to get you moving and strengthen your back muscles.
